BJJ
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is at the heart of Prodigy MMA. As an affiliate of Southside BJJ, we offer authentic instruction under a respected lineage.
BJJ is a grappling-based martial art that teaches how to control and submit opponents using leverage, technique, and strategy — making it highly effective for self-defence and competition.
It’s often described as physical chess, teaching students how to stay calm under pressure and think several moves ahead.
Our BJJ program includes both Gi (traditional uniform) and No-Gi (grappling without the kimono) classes, giving students a complete understanding of grips, transitions, and submissions in different scenarios.
Whether you're aiming to compete, learn self-defense, or simply challenge yourself mentally and physically, BJJ is a transformative journey suitable for all levels—from first-timers to seasoned athletes.
What to wear: No-Gi classes require shorts (pocketless), rash guard, fitted t-shirt or singlet. Gi classes require a Kimono Gi.
Equipment: Mouthguard.

Known for its intensity and practicality, Muay Thai builds explosive power, sharp technique, and ironclad conditioning. Our program teaches both traditional and modern Muay Thai, focusing on technical precision, fluid movement, and real-world application.
Classes focus on building strong fundamentals for beginners while also providing advanced training for those looking to test themselves in the ring. Muay Thai at Prodigy MMA is a full-body workout that builds strength, conditioning, and mental toughness.
